Baran Özongan
With over 15 years of experience, Baran Ozongan is an accomplished professional specializing in accounting, tax consultancy, and foreign direct investment (FDI) management in Turkey. He provides end-to-end solutions for multinational companies and foreign investors, covering company formation, accounting services, tax return filing, and regulatory compliance.
Throughout his career, he has ensured the accuracy and completeness of VAT returns, withholding tax returns, provisional tax returns, and corporate tax returns, while effectively identifying and resolving financial issues in a timely manner.
After holding senior management positions at PwC and Mazars, Baran founded Monetics, a brand built on the vision of “next-generation accounting.” Under his leadership, Monetics has become a trusted partner for numerous foreign investors in Turkey. One of his key achievements was establishing and growing a department in Ankara, increasing its annual revenue from $20,000 to $200,000.
Today, Baran integrates digital accounting technologies, e-invoice, e-ledger, and advanced financial software into business processes, delivering efficient and reliable services. He also maintains strong collaborations with government ministries, UN agencies, and international NGOs to support sustainable growth and compliance for global companies operating in Turkey.
